How SOFBAC ADRIVE is intended to work

Sign in, authorize sources and access a Windows Explorer drive letter.

The intended flow is to sign in to SOFBAC, choose a source, authorise access and see assigned folders beneath a Windows drive — A: by default if available. If that letter is taken, another free letter can be used.

What does this mean day to day?

01

1. Sign in

Manage connections from one SOFBAC profile.

02

2. Connect a source

Authorize a cloud account or configure NAS access.

03

3. Use Windows Explorer

Browse successfully connected sources from the mapped drive.

A connected drive is not a backup. Changes or deletions may affect the actual source files. Use a separate backup solution for recovery.

Example: two clouds and one NAS

Imagine Dropbox, OneDrive and the company NAS beneath one Explorer drive. This is the planned user experience, not a promise that every integration is available today.

How to start

  1. 01

List the clouds, NAS devices and accounts you use, without entering credentials on the marketing site.

  2. 02

Clarify who should access each source and the restrictions of each provider.

  3. 03

Follow product availability; Windows drive mounting and integrations require completed testing.

Important information

A connected drive is not a backup. Changes or deletions may affect the actual source files. Use a separate backup solution for recovery.
